Attila Péntek, Vice President Exploration of Wallbridge Mining, is a Professional Geoscientist with over 15 years of experience in the mining industry and economic geology research. Attila completed an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Geology and has been working at Wallbridge since 2010 in progressively more senior roles.

Since his appointment as Vice President Exploration in late 2017 he has been building and leading the Company’s geology team, through the successful completion of a 35,000-tonne underground bulk sampling program, and exploration drill campaigns totalling over 300,000 metres drilled. The team’s exploration efforts lead to discoveries that established the multi-million-ounce potential of the Fenelon Gold System and were recognized with the Quebec Mineral Exploration Association’s 2020 Discovery of the Year Award. Fenelon’s maiden mineral resource estimate containing 2.13 Moz of Indicated and 1.47 Moz of Inferred resources was published in November 2021 and was the first major milestone in developing this new gold project.
